An essential
requirement of OGI’s work is that all deliverables are
of high quality, accurate, and cost effective. They must
meet the requirements of the client, certifying
authority and government departments. To achieve this,
each project is undertaken in accordance with our
internal Quality Assurance programme.
In August 2004 OGI
obtained certification in accordance with ISO
9001:2000, from the certification body UKAS Quality
Management, with approved OCEAN Certificate No. C114303.
OGI is committed to quality in engineering services as
an effective business strategy that is consistent with
the expectations of our Clients. OGI strives to meet
planned schedules for the projects on which OGI works
and provides good quality service and products to our
Clients while meeting or exceeding their requirements.
To achieve these objectives, OGI has implemented a Quality
Management System in compliance with the International
Standard ISO 9001:2000.
Every engineer is
responsible for his or her own quality. However, all
work is also checked by other experienced staff before
being issued to our clients. OGI prepares a clearly defined
Quality Plan complying with ISO 9001:2000 to ensure the quality of all work at all
stages of each project. The Quality Plan covers the following aspects:
-
Computer Software
Validation/Verification
-
Production of Specifications
-
Project Variations and Client
Comments
-
Document Numbering, Distribution
and Filing
